The Mental Health Crisis in America
Evidence points to higher rates of stress, anxiety, loneliness, depression, substance use, self-harm, and suicidal behavior – especially in the wake of COVID-19. Now, more than ever, we need to address the mental health crisis in our nation.
Let's get back to
dreaming.
Our collective strength can make a difference in the lives of many, from the the young who've just begun to dream, to adults and seniors who need to know they are not alone.
The key to protecting our people lies in:
Intervention procedures
Counseling
and therapy programs
Emergency mental health services
By offering grants to mental health nonprofits, we’re promoting a society that cares for its citizens' emotional and mental needs, rather than just physical.
