About Us

2026 marks the 45th wedding anniversary of founders Rob and Lisa Campbell. Over the course of their marriage, they raised seven children within a supportive community that offered strong schools, close family ties, and meaningful faith-based support. In recent years, their family has continued to grow with the addition of seven sons- and daughters-in-law and many grandchildren.
In 2017, the Campbells became aware that, despite their best efforts to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their children, a hidden and long-standing pattern of sexual abuse had occurred within their extended family. For many years, this abuse went undetected and contributed to challenges that were not fully understood at the time.
They learned that an extended Warner family member, Lisa’s youngest brother, had perpetrated this abuse upon multiple children in the family over a period exceeding two decades. Although Lisa and Rob had attempted to educate their children about child sexual abuse, they learned that the information they had relied upon was incomplete and insufficient.
Tragically, the abuse most often occurred in settings that were presumed to be safe, including family gatherings, underscoring the reality that abuse can occur even in trusted environments and by trusted individuals.
The impact of this trauma has been profound and life-altering, particularly for the survivors. Through this experience, the family has come to understand the critical importance of accurate information, effective prevention education, and timely therapeutic support. Research indicates that prevention education can reduce the risk of child sexual abuse by up to 50%, and access to appropriate therapy is essential for survivor recovery.
There are numerous therapeutic and educational resources available at no cost, including reputable online materials. The RLC Family Foundation is committed to expanding awareness of the prevalence of child sexual abuse and to supporting both prevention efforts and healing initiatives for survivors and their families.
The RLC Family Foundation purpose is to help ensure that no child or family endures the trauma of child sexual abuse, to contribute meaningfully to the prevention of abuse and the promotion of recovery and resilience and to promote education opportunities for underserved populations.
